Automotive sector giant Michelin has named Rubix as one of its suppliers of the year for 2021.
The awards recognise the ‘excellent performance and strong commitment of a few selected suppliers’. In total, only nine suppliers worldwide receive the prestigious award.
In particular, Hélène Paul, Chief Procurement Officer, commented on the Rubix team’s “excellent performance and contribution to Michelin’s three pillar strategy development”, which covers people, profit and performance. This was supported by Rubix’s commitment to environmental social and governance (ESG) issues, risk management and innovation.
Presenting the award, Dominique Cordaillat, Michelin’s Director of Industrial Purchasing, highlighted the strength of the Rubix relationship, strong presence within the plants and value creation business model. In particular, he recognised the value of Rubix’s services in helping to meet their sustainability objectives, and in particular the CO2 reduction targets.
He also credited Rubix for its multi-specialist technical expertise, wide range of logistics solutions and engineering services, quality of exclusive brands and breadth of e-procurement solutions.
Commenting on the award, Pierre Allard Couluon, Rubix’s Group Chief Sales Officer, said: “It was a great honour to receive this award, which is a source of great pride for our teams in France and across Europe. It’s recognition for their commitment to the highest levels of customer service and I can’t thank them enough for their efforts.”
