As part of the Group’s network development strategy, Rubix has acquired Parma-headquartered Casa del Cuscinetto Petean S.p.A. to strengthen its presence in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy.
Founded in 1950, the business is a specialist distributor of power transmission products including bearings, linear and pneumatic components, belts and chains, conveyor components and plastics, gearboxes and electric motors and seals. Its customers also benefit from a range of customisation services.
The business has 26 employees and will deliver c.€10m of sales for 2021.
Current managing director Paolo Petean will remain with the business to oversee a smooth transition while Paolo’s daughter, Anna Petean, will remain with Rubix in her current role.
