We have acquired Société Lyonnaise de Robinetterie (Solyro), one of the leading independent suppliers of industrial valve solutions and associated products in France. The company also provides complementary services such as valve and actuator assembly and instrumentation calibration.
Founded 43 years ago and based in Lyon, Solyro has built its reputation on strong technical expertise in valve solutions. With 85 employees and sales of €30m in 2020, the business will become the centre of excellence in process flow for Rubix France.
Solyro focuses on industrial applications for customers in the chemicals, pharmaceutical, food and power generation sectors. The business serves its customers across France and also supports them internationally.
The company is managed by Hubert Lose, CEO, and Laurence Bernard, who will both oversee a period of transition.
Commenting on the sale, Hubert said: “This agreement is a great opportunity for us to continue our development and build on our successful track record. By combining our technical expertise with Rubix’s market leading position in France, and relationships with blue chip customers, Solyro has substantial opportunities ahead.”
