As part of the Group’s growth strategy, Rubix has acquired Tar Csavar-Csapágykereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft. – a leading specialist distributor of tools and general maintenance (TGM) products in Hungary.
Founded by the Tar family in 1992, the business has developed to become a leading TGM distributor in Hungary. In 2007 the company expanded its presence with the acquisition of Mayer Szerszám Ipari és Kereskedelmi Kft.
Headquartered in Sarvar and operating from five locations with 72 employees, the business generates sales of €12m per year.
Supported by the established team, Dr. Tar Ferenc and Tar András, both managing directors, will continue in their current roles, focusing on the further growth and development of the business within Rubix. Tar Ferenc (Dr. Tar Ferenc’s father) and Tar Ferencné decided that this is the right time for the next generation to take the company to this new stage of its development, and both will retire.
